Indium Software adds industry veterans Ramkumar Ramamoorthy, Rajesh Balaji to advisory board
CHENNAI: Digital engineering firm Indium Software said on Wednesday that former Cognizant India CMD Ramkumar Ramamoorthy and former Cognizant senior vice-president Rajesh Balaji Ramachandran have been inducted as investor-advisors to Indium.
The duo have recently founded Catalincs Partners- a investment-cum consulting firm with a unique model of "grow first, pay later" where they engage with promising growth-stage tech companies on a contract basis with a small retainer and subsequent upside based on company valuation.
This way, the aim is to coach and partner with CXOs of such companies and help them accelerate growth. Indium is Catalincs' first investment and it has invested an undisclosed amount.
“We are excited to welcome Ramkumar and Rajesh Balaji as investor-advisors and look forward to benefiting from their decades of experience in shaping the world’s most admired companies, navigating multiple structural shifts,” Ram Sukumar, co-founder and CEO of Indium, said.
“We are pleased to invest in and partner with Indium Software, a well-managed company with high levels of client and employee satisfaction and a consistent track record of profitable growth,” Ramkumar Ramamoorthy, partner at Catalincs, said.
“Indium has a great roster of clients—both digital natives and digital reinventors—which provides a perfect platform for deploying newer digital engineering models to help capture business value in quick cycle times," Rajesh Balaji Ramachandran, Operating Partner at Catalincs, added.
Indium works in the areas of application engineering, low code, data & analytics, DevOps, cloud engineering, digital assurance, gaming and others. The software firm has grown its revenues by over 35% CAGR in the past three years and has a team of around 2,000 associates.
